Summer Decor Inspiration
What do you take away from this photo? I see really pretty terracotta pots on a wall, really; I love the centerpiece on the table, the lantern, and candles; love the porch signs, and I just feel like these scream beach house or lake house!
Let’s talk dining room tables, this is simple and stunning! I love the centerpiece with fresh flowers and a couple candles; the neutral tablecloth and plates with the darker silverware. I also can’t get enough of the flower stem on the napkin, what a sweet idea.
When you see this it instantly gives you that nautical vibe. The blues and whites, without being in your face nautical, really give you that sense of ocean. And the flowers in the basket really make the space feel alive.
Sometimes I think I am a Southern girl at heart. I LOVE front porches. And this one is so inviting. I love the crate around the pot in the garden, the black rockers, the colorful flamingo pillows and of course, the aqua table. Ferns are also a great choice for a covered front porch because they don’t require a lot of sunlight. For more ideas on front porches check out this post here.
This is one of my favorite mantles of all time. I love how neutral and natural it is. The colors are all neutral but the texture of nature make it feel alive!
Farmhouse decor is all the rage and what says summer farmhouse than a farmhouse sign! I personally love the fresh Zinnias!
Hello summer, that’s what this says to me. Talk about lazy days, I could handle anything in these chairs! The only thing missing is my favorite cocktail, the Paloma. You can find a post with the recipe here.
The Happy Housie
I love coastal decor, don’t you? This is so pretty, I just love the star made of driftwood! I am not kidding, I will be searching for one immediately after finishing this post. ⚓ The colors of this mantle also stick out, the light blues and greens really give you the feel of the ocean.
Another neutral mantle, yes I have a thing for neutral decor, especially on mantles! I couldn’t help myself with these pretty pitchers! Couldn’t you just see yourself using one for a sweet lemonade? And live really is better in flip flops, don’t you agree?
Summer is a great time to get your craft on! You can do something like this a put it in a pretty white frame and tada!!!! You have great wall decor that is easy on the budget and fun at the same time.
Don’t forget that we also have a major holiday in the Summer, the Fourth of July! I love decorating with patriotic decor. Memorial Day this year inspired me to create this flag. I am in the process of redoing my front porch. A new bench will be delivered tomorrow and I have a new wreath and doormat. Just working on collecting the right decor and I will show you the finished product. (After I clean all the pollen off the porch, it’s everywhere!!!). This DIY Wooden American flag was so easy to make, it could easily be done in a weekend. For a full tutorial click here.
