How to Refinish Wood Chairs

Supplies:

Sandpaper Sander Stain Polyurethane Drop Cloth Rags Foam Brush

Step 1:

Sand your chair down as much as you can. The closer you get to bare wood the better finish you will get.

Using a rag dip it into your stain, wring out the excess and rub all over your chair.

Step 2:

After a few minutes rub off any remaining stain and let it dry.

Step 3:

Using a foam brush cover the chair in Polyurethane.  Let it dry and apply two more coats (giving it dry time in between).
