Supplies:

Sandpaper Sander Paint Polycrylic Foam Brush Paintbrush Drop Cloth

Using your sander and sandpaper sand your chair down to remove any top coat and smooth out any scratches.  You don't have to remove all the previous stain since you are painting.

Now lay out a drop cloth and using the paint brush and the color of your choice paint your chair.

Start by turning the chair upside down and painting the legs, then turn it over and do the seat and back.

Add your first coat of paint.   It will look streaky  and ugly but that's okay.

Add the second coat of paint. If needed add a third.

Add 3 coats of Polycrylic using a foam brush making sure you let them dry completely in between coats.

The finished chair!
