The wood needs to soak in Pentacryl for 24 hours then completely dry out. The Pentacryl keeps the wood slices from cracking.

Take your legs and mark where the holes are to screw them onto your tree slice. Drill a small pilot hole where you marked. Then attach your legs to the bottom of the tree slice.

Attach your legs with wood screws.

Add 5 coats of polyurethane. Sand lightly in between coats.
