2026 Spring Decor Trends

1. Soft Neutrals and Warm Whites

One trend we are already seeing is a shift to warmer whites and soft neutrals. Creamy off-whites, taupe colors, and warm greiges.

This kitchen is stunning with the all white materials and gold hardware. The addition of white flowers and warm wood in the spoons and cutting boards adds just the right touch of spring.

2. Spring Color

One of the great things about spring is the influx of color into your home. After the long winter months adding color is a great way to awaken your home.

Pale Blues

I love the addition of soft blue to these spaces. It brings in a touch of color after the cold winter months.

3. Nature-Inspired Accessories with Organic Textures

I often say we should take our cues from nature when we decorate our homes. Nature-inspired accessories such as plants, driftwood, and textures such as wicker, rattan, etc are great ways to add life to your home.

Warm Woods

Adding the warmth of wood in a space that has a lot of cold, hard surfaces is a great idea. It brings life to a space.

Linen and Cotton Textures

Linen has been the fabric of choice for several years now, both in fashion and home decor. It’s the fabric for warm weather, so it makes sense to add it to throw blankets and pillows.

Rattan, cane, and woven textures

These natural textures bring warmth to your home. They give the look and feel of warm weather, and I really love the addition of scallops in the basket below.

4. Create an Inviting Front Porch and Entryway

The first place your guests see when they come to your home is the front porch and entry. Creating an inviting space is key to welcoming them in the best way!

Add a wreath and a new front door mat.

I love this front door wreath that is a different take. The basket with flowers is so pretty!

Add plants, especially in clusters.

This front porch is gorgeous and so welcoming! I love the trees paired with the smaller plants of differing heights.

5. Relaxed Living Rooms

Comfortable living rooms are key all year round, but in the summer, they are needed to calm down after a busy day at work or working in the yard.

6. Spa-Like Bathrooms

Bathrooms can be very hardworking and sterile. They have a lot of hard surfaces and adding spring touches will really help soften the spaces.

Here you have warm wood accents, a plant, and soft linen towels. These are great spring accents that will soften the space.

Adding fun artwork that gives the feel of warm weather also helps bring spring into the home, even if the temperatures outside don’t feel like it.

7. Bedrooms that feel Fresh

Sprucing up your bedroom for spring can be like bringing in a breath of fresh air. Try some new bedding or lighter window treatments.

How to Add Fresh Spring Accents to Your Home

Add floral accents and plants to bring life into the space.

Use lighter fabrics on linens, window treatments, throw pillows, and blankets.

Add pattern and texture, particularly with stripes, linen fabric, and rattan pieces.

Let the light in – lighter fabric for curtains or lose them altogether.

Freshen the mantel, shelves, and table tops.

I love using more coastal accents in the spring and summer. Adding lighter colors, too, will brighten the space. Plants and flowers are also perfect!
