Hello and welcome to my fall home tour 2024! I am sharing all the fun all decor I have added to my home. I especially love the touches of blue and copper I added to a few areas. I hope you love it too!
Fall is my very favorite time of the year. The temps cool off, football is great, bon fires, I mean what isn’t there to love?!
One of my favorites also is decorating for fall. I used to decorate with traditional fall colors but I have been branching out the last couple of years and it’s been super fun.
This year I decided to add a lot of navy blue to my fall decorating. I think navy, copper, and beige look amazing together! Let’s get to it then!

Fall Home Tour 2024
I am going to go through each space in my home where I added a lot of fall. I added small touches to other rooms but these spaces is where I concentrated most of my efforts.
Fall Front Porch
The first thing your guests see when they come to your home is your front yard and front porch. I love my black urns and like to plant seasonal plants in them.
For fall my go to is mums. I like to use a bright color here because my house is so dark.
Beyond the mums flanking the front porch you will see planters that I built for super cheap ($15 a piece!) and they hold ferns that have been there all summer.
I also bought this new wreath from Kirklands and I am obsessed with it!
In front of the planters I placed a large pumpkin and a little copper lantern.
The black bench holds a long lumbar pillow that I purchased from a local home store called Bakers Village Garden. If you are in central Ohio you need to check out this store!
Fall Front Entryway
Once your guests enter your home they see your entryway and I added lots of fall touches here. I made this reversible pumpkin patch sign. The other side has Christmas trees.
And on the entry table I kept it simple with a small fabric pumpkin with lots of beautiful fall colors.
On the other side of the entryway I added a large lantern with a dark orange candle then propped up this large pumpkin along with a smaller one.
Decorating in threes is a great way to go, it creates a beautiful vignette.
Fall Dining Room
My favorite room to decorate is my dining room! We have gone through so much with the furniture. I re-stained the dining table…twice! Once I refinished the buffet I realized the table was too light. So darker it went.
The chairs were a ton of work but I am so happy I gave them a makeover. I bought them on FB Marketplace for $40, put a lot of hard work into them and they turned out amazing!
As you can see I added some navy blue into the decor with the table runner. I love the added color. This is the first time I have used navy in my fall decorating and I am definitely adding more next year.
I thought the copper balanced perfectly with the navy.
On the buffet I have a big white pitcher from Target and lots of fall foliage branches.
Fall Family Room and Breakfast Nook
I have lots of touches in the family room too. I have throw pillows with pumpkins on them and dark orange. The home sign on the tv stand is black painted wood and brown leather.
I added three large mums to my deck as well. You can see them through the wall of windows. Here you can see one of them peeking behind the curtain.
My mantel is 11 feet long and a very large wood beam. I have to decorate it with large pieces. I decided to go a little minimalist this year. I wanted it to be less busy.
My dog got tired of following me around when I was taking pictures so she is falling asleep on the couch.
Another look at my throw pillows and cozy throw blanket on the ottoman (from Costco) which I am in love with! It’s so soft and warm.
In the background you can see my breakfast nook. I added a small round quilt to the table that my Mom got me from her favorite craft store in San Jose. The coffee bar also has a tiered tray with small accessories for fall.
One thing to keep in mind when decorating is size or scale. A large space needs larger accessories where a small tiered tray works with smaller ones.
I also love to add texture to my textiles. The throw blanket on the ottoman is super soft and fuzzy. The throw pillows are super soft and have a detail that you can’t see very well in the pictures but it is in quarters and the pattern goes different ways.
I hope you enjoyed my Fall Home Tour and got some ideas on how to decorate your home this fall!
