Green Winter Dining Room with Touches of Blue

Sharing is caring!

A green winter dining room with touches of blue creates a space that feels both cozy and refined during the colder months. Rich green tones bring warmth and a natural, seasonal feel, while soft blue accents add balance and a calming contrast. From layered table linens and moody greenery to subtle blue dishware and decor, this color pairing is perfect for creating a dining room that feels inviting, elegant, and beautifully styled for winter gatherings.

Green Winter Dining Room

Many years ago, I added board and batten to my dining room walls. Eventually, I added this gorgeous green color to the wall above. Every season and holiday I add touches that will coexist well with the wall color.

Plants are the perfect touch. Between the ones my daughter brought home when she moved home and my own, we have a lot of plants in our dining room. This large window is wonderful with the sunlight all year round.

My dining table with cream upholstered chairs, dark wood stain, a navy blue runner with garland down the center of the table and a cloche with a candle that looks like a birch log.

I kept one of my garlands from Christmas and layered it on top of this blue table runner. In the cloche, I put a candle that looks like a birch tree log. On either side of it are white candles in crystal candlesticks.

On my buffet, I kept the greenery on the mirror from Christmas but changed the red bow for a blue one.

Then I added a table runner that looks like fallen snow. On it I put two pine trees and three reindeer. Perfect for the winter theme!

One thing is a must when decorating in winter, and that is candlelight. It warms any space and illuminates the world when it is so dark most of the day. I picked up these artificial candles from a local store called Bakers Garden Village. They actually flicker, I love them.
