Winter Kitchen Decor Ideas

Welcome to my winter kitchen! I have a lot of white going on with white cabinets, white marble counters, and white subway tile backsplash. It’s basically a blank canvas for decorating!

I always hang these wreaths on the windows for Christmas, and I like to leave them up all winter since the view out of them is a bit stark.

I like to change up the artwork above the stove. In the winter, I love to have this Mom’s banking co sign. Although my husband asked when the pies were going to be ready. I was confused and he said the sign says fresh pies daily! (oops!)

Two of my favorite dishes to cook with are my Lodge dutch ovens. Not only are they amazing to cook with but they are gorgeous so it only makes sense to display them on my stove!

Directly next to the stove are my and my daughter’s salt and pepper shakers. Why two, you ask? Well, she moved back home a few months ago to save money to buy a house. In her salt shaker is pink Himalayan sal,t and fresh pepper in the other. Mine are just regular table salt and already ground pepper. So now we have options.

I have my hard working mixer in the corner with some wood cutting boards leaning up against the wall. They are placed perfectly to warm up the space, but also to give food a quick chop while I am cooking.

The olive oil dispenser is within reach, as well as a nice candle for those times I accidentally burn something. It does happen, can’t lie about that.

To the right of the sink are a few essentials like the base to my blender/food processor/smoothie maker that gets used on the daily. Some new knives I recently got that I desperately needed. And a great plant that I am taking care of while my Mom winters in Florida.

You might also notice the fish tank. While our grandkids were here this summer, they got obsessed with Elmo’s World on Sesame Street. They loved the fish, Dorothy, so we got a fish! Now it’s my husband’s job in life to keep Evelyn and Noah’s fish alive and living it’s best life.

I love a good coffee bar and when you add tea and hot cocoa, it’s just perfect for the cold winter months! I also love the black and white theme going on here.

It can seem very stark in the kitchen after the holidays, but not in this kitchen! I love the copper decor, I really think it warms up the space. I also love the addition of the pink flowers. Just because it’s not spring or summer doesn’t mean you can have colorful florals.

This is the ultimate farmhouse kitchen, and I love how she used lots of wood accents to warm up the space. The addition of live plants also brings life to a room that has so many hard surfaces.

Wood and white is the way to go in the winter. The addition of the small green ribbon brings in a touch of color but doesn’t scream Christmas at all.
