Cozy Winter Dining Table Decor
It’s a cozy night in, and I am here for it! I love hunkering down for the winter with a fire in the fireplace and a warm, cozy meal on the table.
The dining room is the first space I go to for decorating, and that is no different in the winter! It’s cold outside, so let’s warm things up inside!
Today I am sharing my favorite tips for getting an effortless cozy space that you will definitely want to dine in!
Wood and green accents
I love the exposed table ( aka no tablecloth ) and the wood chargers. The added touch of greenery really warms up the space with a touch of nature. Add some gold with the silverware and candlesticks, and you have a gorgeous table setting.
Warm Lighting
Candlesticks are a must on a winter tablescape. It’s cold and gets dark so early that the candles really warm up the feel of the home.
I also love the wood, creamy white, and gold candlesticks. They are an extension of what we have already talked about.
Gold and Blue
We have already discussed gold being a fabulous addition to the winter table because of how it warms the space. I personally am a sucker for touches of blue as well. The greenery just brings a touch of the outdoors in.
Winter White
I have been talking about how winter white is not just for fashion. It’s fabulous for home decor.
Using winter white on the table with touches of greenery and natural elements like the rattan chargers under the plates really gives the space a wonderful aesthetic.

Easy for after Christmas
This table would look great for Christmas but also for all winter. Sometimes all you need to do is remove the red and everything else works.
Pine trees are fabulous for the winter, so adding garland and pine tree accents is great. The addition of the paper snowflakes gives the home a wonderful winter aesthetic.
Go Vintage
This tablescape is gorgeous just by using creams, wood, and green. The flower arrangement is stunning, and the use of tall taper candles as well as votives helps give the feel of warmth.
I love using antiques and vintage items in home decor, and a bonus if they have been passed down from family members.
Black and White
Black and white have always been timeless in home design. I love the way Hip and Humble Style uses it in the plates, linens, and accessories. Adding the touch of green really helps warm it up.
Adding touches of blue

I love keeping all the greenery from Christmas around for winter. It sort of brings the outdoors in. I also love to add white because it’s the perfect color accessory for winter. Take your cues from nature.
This year I added touches of navy blue in my table runner as well as ribbon on the greenery on the mirror above my buffet. Blue and green are perfect together, and adding another color really helps my home feel warm and cozy in the winter when it’s so cold.
