Here Tasha took regular old wrapping paper and created a gift bag from it! I would never have thought of doing that but it is a great idea! Now all the gifts can coordinate with each other perfectly!
This is great because you can use any colors you want! Just by using mod podge Amy was able to dress up plain wrapping paper to make it very colorful!
You will see a theme here, craft paper is a very popular paper used in wrapping. It’s wonderful because you can dress it up however you want! In this case, Chelsea stamped little Christmas trees all over the gift!
In this case, Cindy is all about using a coordinating color on all her gifts. Red is the theme here. she used it in the ribbon and paper so all the gifts tied together. And I love these cute tags too!
Ah the good ole dollar store. What would we do without it?! Jess hit up the dollar store and used some things from nature to dress up that boring craft paper.
Allison got really creative here. This is just red paper, black ribbon and a belt buckle cut out of paper. Check out the full tutorial, this is just such a cute idea!
Amy has hit the ball out of the park with this paper! You can literally download it from her. She created it as a printable from her website and it is so pretty don’t you think? I am downloading as we speak!
Melissa is super creative. She sewed this Santa gift bag and I just love the drawings she did on the craft paper. The pom-pom instead of a ribbon is super cute too!
Other Christmas related posts:
Lindi and Russell are using burlap to its fullest here. Using it like ribbon, creating bows and I love the twine wrapping too. Again, can you notice the craft paper, it’s super popular and super versatile.
Lynne created a farmhouse style look with her gift wrap here. I love how she used craft paper and added the buffalo check. And the tags are super cute! I love the addition of the natural touch with the holly and boxwood clippings.
They did it again! Lindi and Russell are killing it here with the solid color paper and contrasting ribbon with a touch of nature! This one might be my favorite!
Shauna created a vintage glam look with her gift tags. You can go super simple on the wrappings but jazz it up with the type of tags you use. She gives a complete tutorial on how to create this look.
Lynn created a great looking package by using creative tags and gingerbread ornaments. You can easily take your gift wrapping up a notch by adding a pretty ornament to the ribbon where the tag is. It’s like giving two gifts!
I wish I had the talent to be able to write as prettily as Amy does! Mine would never look that good! 😂 I lvoe the gold with the black, go glamorous and the snowflake makes it very festive!

One unique thing you can do is to combine gift wrap, just use one on another in more of a ribbon manner. Then add ribbon, that’s what Krista did and its amazing! It’s all about the layers here, and the textures.
Simple and stunning is what Kelly created here. Notice the craft paper…..I told you it was the thing!!!! I just love the way she dressed up the craft paper. This is so elegant. Nice job Kelly!!!!
Bethany followed along the same line here, beautiful and simple. I love how she just wront on the gift who it’s for and the polka dots on the other one! So cute!!!
