It’s my favorite time of the year!!!  The Fall is by far my most favorite time of year.  Sweaters and sweatshirts, leggings and tall boots, football games and I could go on forever!  I thing other than Christmas, Fall is when I decorate the most.  This year I really dug into my Fall home decor.  Last year I had just had ankle surgery and could barely walk when the Fall came.  So I physically couldn’t do much last year, this year I was really excited to get it all out and go to town.  I hope you enjoy my Fall Home Tour!

The Powder Room

I really focused on all the common areas of the house.  Starting with the powder room, I took out all my coastal decor and replaced it with pumpkins galore!  I also added this candle which my daughter got me for my birthday.

The Entryway

I apologize for the blueish tone of these pictures.  I have no idea why they turned out like that.  Something with the lighting I guess.  On my entryway table I added a cute pumpkin and Happy Fall sign.  That basket holds all the dogs leashes and collars.  The wooden crate holds car keys.  We are a family of four with four drives…and four cars with a two car driveway…..Yeah, it can get interesting sometimes.  😂

The Kitchen and Breakfast Nook

I didn’t add much to the kitchen but this cute pumpkin.  I think it looks great with the white subway time and cute Gather and Love sign that I got at Tuesday Morning but you can find a similar one here.  In the breakfast nook you can see my new coffee bar that I created for the $100 Room Challenge.  I added two cute owls that I got at Joann Fabrics for 70% off!!!  Yes that’s right, they were about $4 a piece!  You can find a similar one here.  I added a fall candle too.  On my kitchen table I placed a DIY pumpkin on each place setting.  You can find the tutorial for those pumpkins here.  In the corner is an old milk jug I found antiquing.  I added some floral stems from Pier One.

The Family Room

Between my breakfast nook and family room I have this antique dresser that use to belong to my husband’s Grandfather.  I added a pitcher with floral stems, a picture of my kids playing in the leaves (photo credit goes to Cedar Rush Photography) and these two pumpkins I got at Joann’s for $2 a piece!  I know, I scored at Joann’s this year!!!

This photo is of a wood box my friend John made for me…thanks John!  I added some fall floral stems and pumpkins.  True story….the smaller pumpkins are real, the larger one in the middle is fake.  I use to have 3 real pumpkins in here and one day I kept smelling something while sitting on the couch.  That night I was messing with the floral stems trying to get them to do what I want and I felt something wet.  One of the pumpkins was rotting!  UGH!  It was so gross.

So cozy Wendy! I love the wainscoting in your bathroom, it really spices up the space. (I need some ideas for my bland bathrooms.) Love all the pumpkins too!

Thank you so much Caitlin! That wainscoting is original to the house and it is my favorite thing for sure!
