This year as a fun family project, we made Milk Carton Jack-o’-Lantern Luminarias. Much like carving pumpkins themselves, the project is easy (with no goopy seeds) merely requiring drawing out a face and cutting it out, along with some painting. This year I decided to do something a little different and use all faux so no rotting pumpkins. I’ve got a DIY pumpkin topiary and a faux cabbage arrangement.

We are finally feeling a hint of Fall in our area of North Carolina! I updated our front porch of the house with Mums, pumpkins, wheat, and doormats to celebrate. We don’t have a roof over our front door so I can’t really put out lanterns, or anything fabric because it will get wet. But I worked around that and am pleased with how everything turned out!
