Halloween is one of the most fun holidays and today I have some pretty awesome outdoor Halloween decorations that you can do to make your home fun and festive!
Halloween isn’t a holiday that I typically get into. My youngest was always afraid of everything when she was little so we did more cute Halloween decor.
Now she is grown, and not afraid anymore, and has flown the nest so this year I want to get fun and spooky!
There are a ton of really great ideas here for you to spook up your home for this great holiday!
Outdoor Halloween Decorations
This project is especially great because, unlike real pumpkins, the craft pumpkins won’t ever rot or go bad. This way, you can pack it up at the end of the season to use it year after year! Without further ado, I will give you my DIY hamburger pumpkin!
I love how these DIY Halloween pool noodle candles turned out, and I had lots of fun creating this DIY project for our Halloween front porch. Making different Halloween decorations is one of the fun ways adults can celebrate and enjoy Halloween. It was so much fun watching the trick-and-treat crowd enjoy themselves, and I was excited to see a few families take pictures beside the candles.
When it comes to DIY Halloween decorations I prefer kid friendly ideas that are sort of spooky instead of outright scary. Last year we were moving so I took out a large blowup pumpkin we have from eons ago, but this year its time for something fun, fab-boo-lous and boo-yah fun for an DIY Halloween decoration outdoors.
It’s approximately a billion degrees outside and I’m ready for some fall inspiration people. Namely, I’m ready to get this pumpkin succulent front porch decor set up for the 3rd year in a row.
I’m so excited October has arrived! Admittedly this is one of my favorite times of the year and I love decorating for Halloween. My taste has always leaned toward handmade items and more rustic artisan goods which are perfect for Halloween celebrating.
I had the chance to meet the Ryobi team at Haven Conference. I had so much fun in their decorative cutting class and actually came home with a new scroll saw! When I got home, I had a list of fun things to cut and for Halloween I made wooden cut outs for a Halloween sign on our front porch.

How to create pathway lighting on an old log with some tea lights. This is SUCH an easy and affordable project.

Last Christmas, I made some fabulous illuminated bottle lights for my home. I loved them so much that I thought, why not make some DIY Halloween lights too?
You can use any old bottles for this craft as they are transparent glass. I like bottles in different sizes, so I used a variety of bottles from other drinks.
