I am so excited to share some amazing DIY Countertop Ideas with you today! They are so genius and creative and I hope you love them as much as I do.
I am an avid DIY’er because I like to have nice things but I don’t want to pay big prices. Sometimes this is out of necessity! We are in year 7 of paying for college for my two kids and I don’t have a ton of extra money laying around for home updates.
So I DIY. When I created my built-ins in my basement office/den space I took 1×8’s, used my Kreg Jig and screwed them together, and ta-da, a countertop was made! I thought that was pretty smart but that doesn’t compare to what I have to share with you today!

Katie with Houseful of Handmade created concrete countertops in her kitchen and with the materials she used, she was done in one day!
